Glacier Silt Treatment is a leave-on treatment or an advanced mud masque. It provides unsurpassed benefits as it purifies skin or assists sensitive, toxic skin to recover. Glacier Silt Treatment assists with regeneration of skin and nerve fibers, relieves redness and pain and helps to stimulate recovery for skin conditions. Use it for the face, body, feet and sore muscles / joints.
How to Use Glacier Silt Treatment
Exfoliation & Detoxification
Glacier Silt is a natural exfoliator for all skin types. It is extremely gentle and can even be used on infants’ skin. Used as a masque, it pulls toxins from the skin. It can be used as a leave on masque before, during or after steaming. Apply evenly and thick enough to cover entire face and neck. Allow to remain on skin for at least five minutes - preferably as long as possible (15-60 minutes). If used at home, Glacier Silt Treatment can be left on for an hour. Soften with Foaming Cleanser and remove with warm water and sponges or cotton pads. Gently pat dry.
Pain Management for Joints and Muscles
Glacier Silt Treatment can be applied topically anywhere on body. Apply thin layer and massage into skin. It will immediately penetrate and should be left on skin. Can be repeated as often as desired. For a moister, creamier product, it can be mixed with Body Butter (50 / 50) and rubbed into skin. Essential Oils known to assist joint, muscle pain can be added.
Wound Treatment
Glacier Silt Treatment is ideal to apply after scab has formed. Not to be applied to open wound as silt becomes a part of the forming tissue, creating granulation.
What are Glacier Silts?
Glacier Silts are finely dispersed colloidal sediments formed thousands of years ago by anaerobic decomposition of all lake life when covered by a glacier. Decomposition included higher aquatic plants such as sedge, equisetum, carex, reed, pondered, naiad, rush, bark and phytoesteroid-rich pollen from trees, mosses, algae (diatom, blue-green, protococci, and others) plankton along with sources of healing ingredients such as fish scales, shells of crustacea, etc.
